Roller blader on the go.

‘Up in the Air’ by Walter Kirn, and ‘Revolutionary Road’ by Richard Yates.

I bought the February 2010 edition of K-Zone Philippines, and the movie-tie-in editions of ‘Revolutionary Road’ and ‘Up in the Air’. ‘Revolutionary Road’ is written by Richard Yates, and published on December 31 1961, and ‘Up in the Air’ written by Walter Kirn, and published in 2001.

The original prices of K-Zone Philippines issues are 95 pesos. Due to that they had a booth in the recent-concluded 31st Manila International Book Fair, all issues being sold by Summit Media costs 50 pesos.

The novels, ‘Revolutionary Road’ by Richard Yates, and ‘Up in the Air’ written by Walter Kirn, originally costs 315 pesos. Due to that National Book Store had a booth in the the recent-concluded 31st Manila International Book Fair, all books being sold by NBS are under 20% off.

If you don’t understand, I will explain this way. If a customer buys a book, he/she will avail the 20% off, if he/she going to buy the book being sold by NBS. Like what happened to me yesterday. I bought the novels, ‘Revolutionary Road’ by Richard Yates, and ‘Up in the Air’ written by Walter Kirn, these two/2 books costs 315 pesos. Because of the 20% off being sold by NBS, the two/2 books costs 252 pesos.

The original price of the novels is 315 pesos, time by 2/two, equals 630 pesos. 315 * 2 = 630.

With the 20% off:
315 times 2 equals 630 * .20 = 126 and then 630 – 126 = 504

Nicholas Sparks, Jodi Picoult and Bernhard Schlink.

Finally, I already had these books: ‘At First Sight’ by Nicholas Sparks; ‘Keeping Faith’ by Jodi Picoult; and ‘The Reader’ by Bernhard Schlink. I bought these at the booth of National Book Store, at the SMX Convention Center, in the compound of SM Mall of Asia. I bought these books with 20% off. I bouthg these books, during the first day of 31st Manila International Book Fair.

Nicholas Sparks:
I read all of Nicholas Sparks’ books, except ‘Dear John’ and ‘At First Sight’. Because, I haven’t read these two books yet. I just finished reading ‘The Lucky One’. His latest book is called ‘Safe Haven’.

Jodi Picoult:
I read ‘Perfect Match’ and ‘My Sister’s Keeper’. For ‘My Sister Keeper’, I read this book last year, I read this book because for this reason:

I read this book I want to know, that how would the film version differ from the novel version.

The other books written by Jodi Picoult that I already have, and I’m planning to read are:

‘The Pact’;
‘Keeping Faith’

I’m currently reading ‘Nineteen Minutes’. I’m planning to buy her last novel called ‘House Rules’.

Bernhard Schlink:
One of the books I want to read is ‘The Reader’ by Bernhard Schlink. The ‘The Reader’ author, Bernhard Schlink, is an author from Germany. The film version of the book is nominated and received for various nominations, and received many awards including and ‘Academy Award for Best Lead Actress’ for Kate Winslet.

Dream body.

I admit that I'm dreaming of a dream body. A good muscular and fit body, that is. I'm dreaming of fit muscular body that I like.

I read somewhere that a guy having a V-shaped body is attractive.

When Chalk Magazine featured Juddha Paolo and Brent Javier, and when I saw Brent Javier's abs, I told to myself, "Damn, I like this guy's abs."

On the similar situation, I was a buyer of Metro Him. One/1 of the issue of Metro Him features a exercise called Military Press, when I saw the model's abs, I told to myself, "Damn, I like this guy's abs." And when I saw the model's legs, I told to myself, "Damn, I like this guy's legs."

Also, on the same magazine. If my memory serves me right. When Metro Him features on exercises regarding on either tennis or badminton, when I saw the model's body, I told to myself, "Damn, I like this guy's V-shaped body."

On the final notes and a couple of disclaimer.
I'm an overweight person. I admire Brent Javier's abs on that particular Chalk Magazine issue.

I admire the model's abs and legs on that particular Metro Him Magazine issue. I admire the model's V-shaped body on that particular Metro Him Magazine issue.

Secondhand Serenade - Fall for You

The first time I learned about the song, “Fall for You” by Secondhand Serenade, from a Sony PSP Friendster fan page. It became one of my playlist.

Dreaming of having a lot of money.

If have a lot of money, I will buy all the things I want to buy. If have a lot of money, I will travel all the places I want to visit.

For example, this past weekend, there’s a particular small advertisements of LG Philippines (on the Saturday edition of The Philippine Inquirer, and the Sunday edition of The Philippine Star) about their cellular/mobile phones. I want to buy some of the cellular/mobile phones, featured on those editions.

And also, while I visited the website of Cherry Mobile, some cellular/mobile phones on the website, became my favorites.

I mentioned earlier that if I have a lot of money, I would travel all the places I want to visit. First stop, here in the Philippines.

Ber months

It’s the start of “Ber” months. Many activities and events start of September 1. For other countries, September 1 is the start of classes.

But here in the Philippines, most Filipino radios play Christmas songs whether sang in English, Tagalog, or in Taglish. It is part of the everyday lives, and a part of present Philippine culture.

Some people think what gifts to give, and some thinks what food to serve and to give.

Here is a post from Yahoo! Answers Blog Philippines.

For me, both carelessly and, it was a tragedy beyond their control.

Carelessly because, the Filipino forces ask for education from other countries, learn from the past, learn from their mistakes, learn from the TV show/series, Criminal Minds, etc.

It was a tragedy their control because, with every day problems people face, they don’t know who they dealing with. I suggest same suggestions written above.

Gorillaz’s Demon Days

I admit that I’m not a fan of Gorillaz, but their album, Demon Days is the only CD that I like when Astro Vision1 had their Everything 99 sale.

Last August 23, 2010, when my oldest sibling & I were at TriNoma, in Quezon City, Philippines, we saw a booth of Astro Vision had their Everything 99 sale. Astro Vision’s Everything 99 sale, they sale videoke/karaoke CD’s, movies, musics from from 70’s/80’s era 90’s to early 2000’s. I don’t remember if there are classical CD’s.

The only two/2 CD’s I like are Gorillaz’s Demon Days and Spice Girls. I don’t remember which of the Spice Girls’ CD are there, Spiceworld, Greatest Hits, or both.

Gorillaz’ Demon Days is the 1st/first CD I had, since I bought the Hairspray soundtrack in a popular music store1 in Singapore.

Note/s:
1 If my memory serves me right, it is HMV.

My thoughts on Jodi Picoult’s novel, Perfect Match.

First and foremost, for whatever reason/s I accidentally bought Jodi Picoult’s Perfect Match, with her other book, Nineteen Minutes.

I bought Perfect Match in Powerbooks Shangri-La Plaza Mall, when Powerbooks had their mid-July-to-mid-August sale.

The first book I read and written by her is My Sister’s Keeper, when the film version is going to release here in the Philippines. It was last year. Unfortunately, I failed to watch it, I don’t know why.

Going back to Perfect Match. It took me some days to finish it. One reason is that I already think about read the novel, but I didn’t do it.

There are some areas are not suitable for kids, like fowl words, and adult scenes.

The Expendables (2010 film)

If you are into action this year, I suggest you to watch The Expendables.

Although I’m not a big fan of action & adventure films, this film is one of the good action & adventure films of the year. As you may “already” know, it stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, and Jet Li.

The film has combination of slow and fast pace. The acting is dry. Of course, action films are not action films without violence. The Expendables is one of few films has humor.

The Last Airbender

For me, the movie “The Last Airbender” is a not-that-good-but-not-that-bad-movie. Why? I’ll tell you why.

The acting is quite/somehow dry. I don’t know, that’s my impression of the actors’ acting in the movie. The directing/direction of M. Night Shyamalan of the movie is not that impressive.

On the martial arts used in the movie, is not that impressive. I have a theory that stunt coordinators ruled over the martial arts than the martial artists themselves. The only “wow factors” are the visual effects and the sound of the four/4 elements (air, earth, fire, and water).

In my humble opnion, I have suggestions for M. Night Shyamalan:

1) Improve his storytelling in terms.
2) Improve his swcriptwriting.
3) He may hire a scriptwriter or two/2.
4) He may collaborate with a scriptwriter or two/2.

Nokia 5110 and Nokia 5110i

(This story is happened, way back around, March 1999. It was 11 years.)

My very first cellphone (cellular phone) was Nokia 5110i. Nokia 5110i was given to me by my parents as a high school graduation gift. The sim card I use at the time is powered by Globe Telecom.

Nokia 5110 and Nokia 5110i has the same features. The only difference is the small letter i.

The cellphone I want at the time my parents is looking for cellphone, is Nokia 3310. I don't know reasons why my parents don't like aforementioned cellphone.

The sim card, for my soon-to-be-cellphone, is Smart Communications. I don't know reasons why my Smart Communications.

The sim card is free, when you buy a cellphone. We bought the cellphone, and the sim card, at Greenhills, San Juan.

I have nothing against any of the companies; I'm only sharing my thoughts.

Will E-Readers Kill Books?

Multisource political news, world news, and entertainment news analysis by Newsy.com

I prefer reading from the pages of traditional books, than reading with ease of handheld electronic devices. Because I have many reasons for reading the pages of traditional books, than reading with ease of handheld electronic devices.

Advantage and disadvantage #1:
On traditional books, you can flip the previous pages you missed something. On electronic devices, it makes you dizzy.

Advantage and disadvantage #2:
There are traditional books are bulky, some are not. You can bring electronic devices anywhere.

Advantage and disadvantage #3:
You can donate traditional books of any format. You cannot donate e-books.

Advantage and disadvantage #4:
You cannot charge e-books if the battery is low, if there’s no electricity.

Advantage and disadvantage #5:
You can recycle, reduce, and reuse the pages of the traditional books. You cannot recycle, reduce, and reuse e-books.

These are some advantages and disadvantages of traditional books and electronic devices. The list goes on.

Is E-mail Dying?

Multisource political news, world news, and entertainment news analysis by Newsy.com

The honest and simple answer is: E-mail Is Not Dying. Why? Because, websites like Twitter, Facebook, Friendster, Multiply.com, and other social networking websites needs an active e-mail account to register, and receive messages from the people behind these websites.

And also, websites like online forums, online photo websotes and many other websotes needs an active e-mail account to register, and receive messages from the people behind these websites.

Meaning, you cannot register to these websites if you do not have an active e-mail account.

On Friendster and Facebook.

I learned about Friendster, when my cousin posted something about Friendster, on the mailing list I currently joined. I subscribed, I have two/2 accounts.

My first/1st Friendster account, I have many friends, including my relatives, classmates, neighbors, friends, and people I don't know. On my second/2nd Friendster account, I do only have relatives, neighbors, friends.

And there's Facebook. I have many Facebook accounts, but I maintained one/1 account. Since then, I am spending more time in Facebook than Friendster.

I have accounts on other social networking websites.

MRT this morning.

Chowking’s Orange Chicken

I like Chowking’s Orange Chicken, the one Jericho Rosales currently endorse. I tried the Orange Chicken Lauriat in Starmall, Mandaluyong City, near the MRT Shaw Boulevard Station.

It was somehow delicious. The skin of the Orange Chicken is quite crispy/crunchy. For me, it was somehow more delicious with the orange sauce.

The Orange Chicken I ate is costs 84 Php (84 pesos). It includes with a drink.

Inception (film)

I don’t know if I consider Christopher Nolan's Inception, as a psychological thriller or not. It’s hard for me to completely understand or grasp a particular idea, especially if you’re not a fan of this kind of genre.

Inception is now one of my favorite movies. Among Christopher Nolan’s films, number 1 is Inception, and then at number 2 are Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.

Christopher Nolan's Inception, starring Leonardo DiCapio, is one of the best movies this year.

Inception is a bad-@$$ flick.

I watched the movie in TriNoma, Quezon City, Philippines.

Cornelia Funke’s The Thief Lord

Cornelia Funke’s book, The Thief Lord, is a good read. This book is now one of my favorite books.

I have two/2 reasons why I read the book. 1) The first/1st reason is that I had this curiosity what the story The Thief Lord has. 2) The second/2nd reason is that Cornelia Funke is the author of the Inkworld trilogy*.

I’m sorry for not giving any spoilers, due to that some people do already have the book, but they didn’t read the book yet.

Some of you may ask, “‘The Thief Lord’ is a children’s book, why did you read the book?” And some of you will ask “ ‘The Thief Lord’ is a book for children, why did you ever bother to read the book?”

My answers are these: I already answered the questions. See the second/2nd paragraph.

Note:
* The first/1st book of the Inkheart trilogy, Inkheart, is made into a movie, starring, Brendan Fraser.

'Twilight' Movie a Box Office Disappointment

Multisource political news, world news, and entertainment news analysis by Newsy.com

I admit that I didn't finished reading the last book, 'Midnight Sun', for me, the Twilight Saga books are sucks.

I admit that I haven't seen Eclipse yet, the first 2 films suck. The first film doesn’t deserve any of its awards, which the 'Twilight' movie won. The 'Twilight' movie should win its Razzie awards nominations. While on the other hand, ‘New Moon’ doesn’t deserve its awards. The ‘New Moon’ movie should win its Razzie award nominations.

June 25 until June 28

June 25, Friday

Last June 26, Friday, my family & I and my older brother’s girlfriend’s family ate at Polu Kai, Serendra, in Taguig City. One reason is that my older brother’s girlfriend’s mother hasn’t met our father yet. I haven’t met my older brother’s girlfriend’s mother yet. My parents & I arrived first at the aforementioned area, after a few minutes, my two older brothers & my older brother’s girlfriend’s family arrived. My dad & I finally met my older brother’s girlfriend’s mother.

For those who didn’t know. Polu Kai has a theme of Hawaiian. It is located at Serendra, Taguig City. Serendra is a propery owned and managed by Ayala Land, Inc. Serendra is between Market! Market! and Bonifacio High Street. Both Market! Market! and BHS are owned and manged by Ayala Land, Inc.

June 26, Saturday

Last June 27, Saturday, I went again to Powerbooks on Greenbelt in Makati. I went there because for two reasons: 1) to return a book called 2005-2006 Labor Code of the Philippines, and a book about wine drinker’s diet with making the best out of your favorite wine; 2) and to exchange the other 12 books I brought.

And also, it was the 1st time that my nephew celebrated his birthday here in the Philippines, and celebrated at Jollibee, Bluewave.

June 27, Saturday

My family, my relatives & I went to Meycauan, Bulacan, to do the swimming outing.

Nestlé Wellness

I just attended the 2-day event of Nestlé Wellness on Halls 2 & 3 of SM Megamall. I learned this event, via on the website of Mega Trade Hall. On the website, you see that the aforementioned event is ion Hall 10. But when I was there today, the event is on Halls 2 & 30.

There are activities both for adults and for kids. There are many booths: there are 3 booths for picture-taking1; games2; face-painting3; 2 small groceries for the Nestle products; a stage; there are booths for free tasting; there are also demos; there are two/2 stages4, and others5.

I bet that my parents will not allow me to go back tomorrow, to the aforementioned event. One/1 reason is that. “You’ve/You’d/You already went there yesterday, why you have to go back there?”*1 I don’t know what will be my answer or answers to the question, if I want to go back there. I bet that my parents will not go to the event. If I ask them if they want to go to the event, they might say this: “Ano ang gagawin namin dun?”*2

One reason I went there because I thought it was the 4th/fourth year of PASOO Wellness Summit.6 When I was on the 5th/fifth floor of the aforementioned shopping mall; I learned that Nestlé Philippines conducted the aforementioned event.

Notes:
0 Sources: SM Megamall’s Mega Trade Halls 2 & 3, Nestle blogs.
1 Activity 2 has two/2 booths: NestlĂ© KitKat; I didn’t check the nearby booth. Activity 1 has NestlĂ© NesTea. On this booth, if you have a Facebook account, sign-up on the middle and last tables with each laptop with a piece of paper with “WITH FACEBOOK”, and the first/1st with laptop with a piece of paper with “WITHOUTH FACEBOOK”. If you don’t to fall in line, you have the option to buy a 20/twenty peso NestlĂ© KitKat. Otherwise, fall in line to play a touch-screen puzzle with the ocver of NestlĂ© KitKat.
2 Nintendo Wii powered-Hoola-hoop and Nintendo Wii powered-Bowling. On Nintendo Wii powered-Bowling, I got a small NestlĂ©-labeled notepad. The third/3rd game is two/2 mechanical-powered bicycles. I’m clueless to explain this game. All of these games are on Activity 2.
3 Face-painting for kids; I’m not sure on adults.
4 I’m clueless on the stage near the Entrance area. The stage near the Redemption Area and Exit Area; has schedules.
5 Choose Wellness Club; Nestlé Club, please visit the website for more information: http://www.nestle.com.ph/recipe/nestleclub/default.asp; there is a booth selling a bottle with already-contained Iced Tea (with various colors to chhoose), plus a small Iced Tea sachet, this costs only 50 (fifty pesos); 2/two sections of health: first/1st section Health & Weight, and BP, and the 2nd/second section is consultation; I forgot the others.

Harry Potter 'Deathly Hallows' Trailer Goes Viral

Multisource political news, world news, and entertainment news analysis by Newsy.com

The 7th two-part film/s is the darkest of them all. Why? Because the books are getting darker.

I read the 1st book for curiosity, after I watched the first film. I have strong feelings that they, the filmmakers will do justifiable adaptation of the 7th book. And I admit that, I have to accept that they altered some subplots, removed some subplots and add some subplots.

Although there are scenes, dialogue, and other materials are not suitable for dchildren, tweens, and early teens.

Toy Story 3

I watched the movie Toy Story 3 yesterday afternoon in TriNoma. I watched it in a regular cinema. I don’t know if it is good on a 3D cinema.

Toy Story 3 is now one/1 of my favorite movies. Toy Story 3 is far better than Shrek Forever After.

Although some toy characters from the first/1st two/2 films are not in this movie. And the same time, the toys characters are still have.

The movie has well plot, good jokes. The price is worth the movie. This movie is not only for kids, but also for teens, adults and teens-at- and adults-at-heart.

I have feeling that this movie will be a strong contender for the Best Animated Feature Film for next year’s Golden Globe Awards, BAFTA Awards and Academy Awards.

Powerbooks’ PowerBarter

I learned about Powerbooks’ PowerBarter in Greenbelt 3, on Powerbooks’ Twitter account a few days ago. And of course, I asked my parents to go there today. I exchange 6 of the books I owned.

The books I exchanged are:
Lois Lowry’s “The Giver”;
Antoine de Saint-Exupery’s “The Little Prince”;
Philip Pullman’s The Subtle Knife” and “The Amber Spyglass”;

I forgot the last 2/two of the books I exchanged.

While I browsing one/1 of the tables, a 20s-30s lady approached to me, she asks me if she can exchange from one of her books to my copy of Lois Lowry’s “The Giver”. I give to her, she told me that I can take her one/1 copy which I forgot the title. I asked her, if I can choose from her books, I took her hardbound copy of Nicholas Sparks’ “Dear John”.

Here are the other books I exchanged, aside from the aforementioned book:

Alice Sebold’s “The Almost Moon”;
Linda Gravett &/and Robin Throckmorton’s Bridging The Generation Gap;
Dr. Tedd Goldfinger &/and Lynn F. Nicholson’s “The Wine Lover’s Healthy Weight Loss Plan”;
“Writer’s’ and Artists’ Yearbook 2008”
Vicente B. Foz’s “The Labor Code of the Philippines”

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - Trailer 1 - 1080p HD [Official]

I have mixed reviews about this trailer of the Narnia film. I don’t know why.

I don't remember that the White Queen is in the book version of The Voyage of Dawn Treader. Both Peter and Susan are not in the book. I don’t know why they, the filmmakers, include them in the film version.

Here are my thoughts on Twitpic, TweetPhoto, and Twitgoo.

Here are my thoughts on Twitpic, TweetPhoto, and Twitgoo.

Twitgoo.

Twitgoo’s homepage is similar to the Twitter profile of a person who has a Twitter account. It makes Twitgoo’s website simple-to-use, and easy-to-navigate.

My criticism is Twitgoo has no keyword for searching photos.

Twitgoo has We Love sections, namely People We Love and Apps* We Love.

According to the website, Twitgoo is powered by Photobucket.

Twitpic.

Twitpic has simple-to-use, and easy-to-navigate. Most applications in the iPhone App Store has offer Twitpic, whether they sure paid applications, or free applications.

My criticisms are these: my photo became a big photo; and I can’t add tags.

TweetPhoto.

What I like about TweetPhoto?

TweetPhoto has:
Interactivity;
Geolocation;
Tags;
Photo statistics;
Users can like a photo on TweetPhoto via Facebook;
Users can: click the “thumbs up” icon if they like the photo; click the “thumbs down” icon if they don’t like the photo; and click the “star” icon if the photo became their favorite, uploaded by the user

What I don’t like about TweetPhoto:

iPhone users can only upload photos via the TweetPhoto application, iPod Touch users can’t upload photos via the TweetPhoto application.

* Apps is short for Applications.

“Apple Store App Comes to Apple App Store.”

Yes, you read it right. “Apple Store App Comes to Apple App Store.”

When I after read the article, from the Mashable iPhone/iPod Touch application, I said to myself, ”Ah, okay.”

When I touched the iTunes application of my iPod Touch, it worked. I asked myself, “Is this true?” while browsing the aforementioned application. Until now, I still can’t believe that the iTunes is working.

When my parents gave it (the iPod Touch) to me, the application called iTunes is not working for months, until I read the aforementioned article from Mashable.

Royal Family Mall, Valenzuela City

I visited the mall called Royal Family Mall, here in Valenzuela City was last Thursday in years. I don’t remember the last time was there. Confused? Let me try to explain.

Royal Family Mall was in the business since June 12, 1998. It was the day the mall open to the public, the same day of our Independence Day. I also eat my lunch either at Jollibee or at McDonald’s, when I attended my CAT during my high school days. There were also popular chains of Chowking, Greenwich, and Otto.

I don’t remember the last time was visited the aforementioned mall, except for one thing.

Last Thursday, after I got my mother’s Postal ID from Valenzuela City Hall, I decided to eat my lunch at the Jollibee branch, on a mall called Royal Family Mall, here in Valenzuela City.

My mother’s sister mentioned that Puregold would replace the aforementioned mall.

Howl and Twitterrific

Howl and Twitterrific are both Twitter applications on iPhone and iPod Touch.

First, my thoughts on the application called Twitterrific.

Twitterrific is the very first Twitter application on my iPod Touch that I used. Twitterrific has 3 features that I like. These are: translation/translate, multiple accounts, Searches, and Trends.

The multiple accounts, Searches and Trends on the main page of Twitterrific, when you click the icon of it on, yoir iPhone or iPod Touch.

What I also like about Twitterrific, is each tweet is color-coded. For the tweets of the people you follow, or the people who follow you is similar to dark blue, but it is a little bit of light blue.

For the mentions, it is orange-like color. For direct messages, it is blue. For your tweets, it is green,

As for the translation/translate feature, simply touch the tweet that is written in another language. You may ask, how about, those tweets that are combination of English with another language? Same procedure as the other one, simply touch the tweet that is written in English with another language.

First, my thoughts on the application called Howl.

As for Howl, I don’t have positive remarks or comments on Howl. It needs improvements.

For me, the criticism is every time it reloads for new tweets, it goes to the latest tweets. The good/positive remark or comment is every time you create a new tweet, you will see the numbers of how many characters left. It is in the center of the screen of the tweet you are creating.

Movie Review: Shrek Forever After

I watched Shrek Forever After, last Sunday, on Cinema 4/Four of TriNoma. It was unexpectedly that I going to watch the aforementioned film/movie.

The movie was okay for me. There are some jokes aren't funny, and there some jokes are funny. It was my first time, to watch a movie in 3D, by all by myself.

My oldest sibling thought that I haven't watched Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time. He learned that I did already watch it last Thursday, when mom told about it. So I watch movie Shrek, he watch the movie Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time.

Some thoughts on the debut album of Kris Allen.

I admit that I’m a Kris Allen fan. I’m a fan of him, because the songs he interpreted it on the season 8 of American Idol, and the same time, I like some of his songs from his self-titled album.

My favorite songs from his self-titled album are:
• Live Like We’re Dying
• Before We Come Undone^
• Written All Over My Face^
• Alright With Me^
• Heartless^^

Some of the songs from the album, which are I don’t like. Because some of it, are too slow, or too sentimental for me. The song, Heartless, is one of my favorite cover versions. I hope and I wish that, it would have a music video of it.

^ These songs are my favorite songs from the list above.
^^ This song is originally performed by the controversial Kanye West, and the band, The Fray, had a cover version of it.

Movie Review: Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time (film)

The movie was based on the video game: Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.

Despite the film having the same title as and being primarily based on the video game Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, elements from Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones, two other titles from the Prince of Persia video game franchise, are also incorporated.

Before I watched the movie.

I watched the movie, Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time, with my mom and a female cousin yesterday in TriNoma in Quezon City. Originally, we were going to watch Shrek Forever After, but this cousin of mine said to my mom that they already watched it on Walter-Mart in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.

During the time I watched movie.

Entirely, the movie was weak. It was slow-paced, dragging. The acting is both dull and weak. The direction was not that impressive.

The only impressive was stunts made in the movie, and the memorable acting was from Alfred Molina. And the only memorable fight scene was from the bald guy, when he is getting the dagger.
The cinematography and the editing were not that impressive. And the hilarious scene, for me, was that, Alfred Molina’s character found again the characters of Dastan and Tamina, with that ostrich.

So far, this is my review for the aforementioned film.

Facebook application, and Echofon on Facebook.

I’ve been using the Facebook application more than Echofon for Facebook application, since I downloaded it on my iPod Touch. I have reasons.

The Facebook application:

Pros:

• It has more features.
• It remembers your email address.

Cons:

• If someone borrows your iPhone/iPod Touch, and this person is expert on spamming emails.
• You cannot update, or edit your profile.
• You cannot delete some information of your profile.
• You cannot delete a friend.
• You cannot delete what you posted on your wall.
• You cannot upload a photo.

Echofon on Facebook:

Pros:

• It has “Keep me logged in” feature.
• It has less features that the Facebook application.
• Your friends who are experts on spamming email addresses cannot spam your email address.
• You can upload a photo.

Cons:

• It has fewer features.
• You cannot update, or edit your profile.
• You cannot delete some information of your profile.
• You cannot delete a friend.
• You cannot delete what you posted on your wall.

So far, this is my review for the aforementioned applications on iPhone and on iPod Touch. Echofon is formerly known as Twitterfon.

Did 'Lost' Leave its Viewers Lost?

Multisource political news, world news, and entertainment news analysis by Newsy.com

I’m one of the people, who are still lost, in the last episode, of the recently concluded hit TV series, Lost.

One/1 reason is that, Jack is died in the flash-sideways timeline. And I check, it on Wikipedia and Lostpedia, that Jack is died/dead, in the flash-sideways timeline.

But my question/s to this idea are these.
* Are Jack and rest of the group really dead or died?
* How did Jack and rest of the group dead or died?
* If the flash-sideways timeline, is a type of purgatory, what if one or some of them, decided to “move on” and they decided to stay behind go back to the reality, and ready to die?

So far, these are my questions, although there are questions are still unanswered. Kakaloko intindihin.

7-Year-Olds in 'Sexy' Dance Video Spark Debate

Multisource political news, world news, and entertainment news analysis by Newsy.com

For me, ask the children like these questions:
Why did you chose the song?
Why did you those/these costumes?
And other questions.

For me, ask the organizers like these questions:
Why did they allow the girls to compete, if they (the girls) wearing inapproiate costumes?
Do they have certain rules about inappropriate costumes, and the like?
And other questions.

The Last Song (film)

Before the movie.

I just watched, The Last Song. Not that bad, but not that good.

Originally, I'm planning to watch the movie at the 11:13 a.m. slot of this movie, at TriNoma’a Cinema 3/Three. But my parents told not to watched the aforementioned slot; because of not to eat a lunch outside (meaning any of the affordable food chains in TriNoma), and it will cause extra cost.

I said that I would watch the 1:30 p.m. slot. After eating lunch, I said to my parents that I couldn’t able to watch the 1:30 p.m. slot; my dad told me that I would not able to watch the 1:30 p.m. slot.

I decided that I will watch the 3:45 p.m. slot, and I didn’t. Due to that most the seats are already taken and paid. My mom mentioned thru/via text message, to take the later, which is the 6:00 p.m. slot. Of course, I watched the aforementioned slot.

The movie.

The main reason I watched the movie, The Last Song, is not because of Miley Cyrus or any other reason or reasons, but I already read the novel.

I liked the movie, and the same time, I didn’t like the movie. I don’t know why, but that’s the reason. Although there are (some) scenes of the movie has comedic scenes. And there are quotable life quotes.

NBC cancels Heroes.

NBC, why did you cancel the TV show/series, Heroes? Is it because, the show has falling ratings? Does the series’ story line become more complicated? Why?

To the show/series’ frontrunners, what are happening to you?
